Hello! Welcome to Legends of Rock Rattery!
Dedicated to Improving Health, Temperament, Type, Longevity, and Last But not Least, Good Looks. We work hard at trying to Create better rats as a species and as a Pet. We love our ratties and want nothing more than to share them with the community along with their Fuzzy Love.
We are located in Augusta Georgia, which is about 2 hours from Atlanta Ga, and 1 hour from Columbia Sc.
We Specialize in Mink Rats which include Mink, Pearl, Lilac, Platinum, and Dove. They are Merle, Self, Roan, Berkshire, Possum, Variegated, and Blazed Berkshire and Variegated. Their coats are Standard, Rex, Velveteen, and Harley. There are also Dwarf and Manx in the line but we do not plan to have those rats often.
We also specialize in Siamese and Burmese. They are all self in seal and blue point. They have Standard, Velveteen, and Rex coats. We have manx in the mese line also and dwarf but again we do not plan on having manx and dwarf often.
We in no way shape or form claim our rats are perfect! You cannot predict everything 100% of the time and since we are still relatively new we can't claim perfect health or longevity. However we can say we are doing our best to better rats as a species and as pets as best we can with what we have to work with! We love our fuzzies and want them to be healthy and lovey and live long just as much as every other rat lover.
Legends Rats are first and foremost my pets before breeders or anything of that nature. They live in Critter Nations full of hammocks and toys and receive lovins every day by myself and my children. They are fed the best food possible (IMO) and treats every day. We love our rats very much and we dont consider them our pets, they are our family.
We are in the process of registering with NARR.

We breed to improve and further our lines, and to get the kits we need for the future of our rattery, we do not mass produce for the public. All of the babies we do not choose to keep will be adopted out to loving caring homes only and other established ratteries.

Transport
I sometimes travel to Atlanta to transport and sometimes have people transport to me. Columbia Sc adopters have to come to Augusta to pick up there babies and sometimes transport for me. I have someone from Orlando Florida who can transport for me Occasionally and drop off babies along the way through Ga and in Florida on her way home to Orlando.
